I take on event, portrait, and documentary projects, and I always enjoy being invited into new places and stories.

From my architecture training, I developed an appreciation for showing the environments people are in to tell their stories. Through working with communities, I learned to get close and show things as they are, unpolished, messy, and unfiltered. I like talking to people, getting to know them and being in the moment.

What matters most is that people feel comfortable in front of the camera, whether for professional headshots or more intimate portraits at home.

I am particularly drawn to documenting non commercial cultural happenings such as self made spaces, festivals and events.

I photograph events including performances, workshops, talks and exhibitions, working closely with organisers to capture what they want to highlight.
